Hi everybody, this is going to be straight to the point. I'm leaving the website. I no longer have the passion nor the desire to run the website anymore. I will still be around in a limited capactiy but I will no longer be actively participating on here, instead I will check in once or twice a month to make sure the site is still actively running. Our website address will be kept through at least the 2016 season so just because I'm leaving doesn't mean that the website is going away. It will still be here for those that wish to read and participate in discussion. It will be up to you guys (if you even want to do so) to create threads and discussion. Robert | |

Oh my. Another kick in the gut news. :( So sorry to hear this, RobBob. I understand. This site has been a haven for all of us and I have enjoyed it immensely. You have done an awesome job too. Zero complaints. I hope that my rants are not one of the reasons? We all know how the sport has been taking a slow nose dive over the last few years under King Brian. Oh, and POLE. | |

Thanks for your kind comments. It's been a fun 4 years between 88-Central and this place. And no my leaving has nothing to do with you or anybody here. It just has to do with my lack of passion to run the site on a daily basis. It would be great to see this place continue on even if I'm not here to run it. I guess I'll see what happens. Nascar joke of the day......there are no entrances at Daytona anymore....they are now called "FAN INJECTORS" and will have sponsor ads all over....can you say "height of pretentiousness" ?

Man, Junior sure has been puttin' down a whole lotta tweets since last night. He rode in the hauler from the shop down to Tona instead of taking the jet. Musta been bored? He had one guy tweet that he took a pic of the hauler at a truck stop and is kicking himself now because he didn't know that Junior was in it riding shotgun. :D | |

I see it as: " We are running without dicipline or consequence now " . No one will be admonished or ejected for any rules violation.... anyone can say or post what ever they want and there will be no consequences. If and when the Web Site Host takes it down for what ever reason, or there is a technical issue in their service, we are at odds as to when that gets fixed??? ..... This is truely the wild,wild west ....and cannot endure long....
The Game is over for all intensive purposes as again our Sargent at Arms (RobBob) is no longer participating...... This is sad and I am sorry to see this happen but it was inevitable, when our Administrators took their interest elsewhere.... and our growth started in decline from petty bickering.... It's also why I lost interest in " Buckshot's Cornor ". Not one sole here ever posted a comment there, so I took that as my folley and lost all interest in that effort to help grow our furum..... I guess it is just how life is, nothing is forever... a really hard lesson I have learned again, recently. So it is on the Dale Jr Forum... sad IMO | |

Hey, don't be so down. I know how you feel! Right now most people are getting pretty damned fed up with the way things have been going everywhere. It's made many people say "What the hell? Why do I even care?" "Nobody else does?" "Why work so hard and care when nobody else does anything to help?" It's not just on any website, this feeling is widespread no matter what the subject I have found. I just came from the funeral home from another family member that had suddenly passed on Wednesday. Everyone there were lamenting with one another on how bad things have become in this country lately. All of my cousins that I haven't seen in years wanted to talk about it. I didn't have to bring it up. They did! So, it's not just you, me, us, it's most everyone. Even this sport we have loved. We all know why too and it's no accident. It's up to us to keep on keeping on in spite of the powers that be! :) What better way to flip them the bird? :P I'm going to put in an effort to enjoy myself and they can just suck it! | |

Like I said, I'll be here just on a very limited basis and in the background. And my interest in NASCAR hasn't gone away. I'll always love it and watch it religiously. WOO-WHOOO Junior take P1 in first practice at 202.284 MPH, ET 44.492. JGR's #18-Kyle Busch, #11-Denny Hamlin and #19- Carl Edwards all envolved in first lap crash from Brad K tap of #18 rear bumper ....Also inclued in the incident, the #78 Martin Truex Jr will go to back up, after hitting the fence from this incident..... 11 cars in total envolved ...... I'm bettin the Team Penske and JGR are not friends right about now.... | |
